Form Level Access Control

We’ve now created the ability for you to control who has access to a form by user, role, or security profile. If you want to restrict access at a form level, you’re now able to do so.

By default, a form is visible to everyone.

And only admins and people with the view form submissions permission are able to see all forms submissions tab.

To change that for a specific form

  1. Go to your forms library

  2. Select edit.

  3. Select the header of the form, this will display the form’s root properties.

  4. Click the plus icon next to Access Control.

    • Here you’re able to select a specific user, a role, or a security profile.

  5. Then select the access drop down.

    • For access there are three options:

      • View form submission: Those selected will have visibility into everyone’s form submissions.

      • Hidden: Those selected won’t see this form in the library to fill out.

      • View: Those selected will see this form in their library.

      • Hidden and View have an inverse relationship.

If Hidden for Bob and Sally, the form will be available for everyone else.

if View is selected for Bob and Sally, the form will be hidden for everyone else.

  1. Once all looks good, click save and publish.
