Employee Profile Page Overview
Let’s take a look at an employee’s record. Clicking on a person’s name takes you into their personal profile. Here you are able to update a photo, enter in their basic information, address, contact, and set their role. In this example, you will see Sam the Supervisor’s primary role is Supervisor as indicated by the green dot. He is also on the management team, and a member of the joint health and safety committee. He used to be Foreman so you will see this displays but is greyed out and no longer active. Training and certifications attached to a particular role will then show for this user. On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see an active toggle. On indicates this person is active in the system and able to log in. You’ll also see their compliance status which tells you if any trainings and certifications are out of compliance.
The supervisor will be indicated. If you need to change the employee’s supervisor, you can do so by clicking on the pencil icon. If the employee has any direct reports, they will be listed. Clicking on the Supervisor or any direct report’s avatar will take you to that person’s profile.
You can view or add emergency contacts, review the person’s training and certifications and delete, edit or add new ones, you can add documents which can be marked as private if required. This makes the document only visible to the administrator, View history, or make updates to their access in security. Permissions are set at the security profile level which is controlled in settings in the Admin tab. Currently Sam has all permissions of a Supervisor. If we wanted to give him additional access, we can click the green plus icon beside direct, and add the required permission. In this example, we want to give Sam the ability to delete comments. We find it and click create. Now in addition to all his Supervisor permissions, he’ll be able to delete comments in the system.
