Customizing Content in Email Notifications

We’re excited to announce that you can now customize the email notifications generated by a Form. Here’s how it works:

To set up notifications, you first need to build a notification configuration.

  1. To do this, go to the Admin tab

  2. Select Notification Config.

  3. Click Create.

    • In this example, we’ll create an Incident Report Notification that emails Sally the Safety Officer when the report is created and completed.

    • Next, let’s edit the Incident Report form. Ensure the notification configuration is active by selecting the correct configuration under Root Properties.

    • By default, when this configuration is active, the email will look like this.

  4. To include form content directly in the email, highlight a field and toggle on Display in Email Notifications.

    • For this example, we’ll add the fields for Reported By, Date, Time, and Description of What Happened. When finished, click Save and Publish.

  5. Now, whenever this form is filled out, Sally will receive an email notification with the selected details included.
